Here’s some information from the Finney County Humane Society:

The Finney County Humane Society, with the cooperation of the Garden City Police Department, will be sponsoring free Parvo/Distemper shot clinics.  The last clinic date is May 22.

The clinic is scheduled from 1 to 3 p.m. in the garage area of the Animal Shelter at 124 N. Fleming (directly across the street from Pro Build).

The shots are provided free of charge to any resident of Finney County, and there is no limit on the number of dogs that you can bring. Litters of puppies are welcome. Owners need to be present with their dogs so that they can sign a release form.  Each dog must be on a leash or in a secure carrier.

These clinics are not meant to replace professional veterinarian care.  These clinics are aimed at meeting the needs of dogs that normally are not provided with professional health care.

The Finney County Humane Society also is in need of volunteers to help staff the event. Please contact them for more information about that.
